**If a first

it must be approved by the Medcor Medical Administrator prior to
the start of the event. It must also meet Medcor's requirements
so as to protect a patient's privacy and confidentiality. The client
will be responsible for providing Medcor with an "MIS" type
of enclosure with no see through walls and a door. Pipe & drape
booths do not conform to current privacy standards. The "MIS"
enclosure can be arranged through the decorator service that you choose
for your event.
Standard
First Aid Coverage
Medcor, Inc. and
the City of Dallas have established set guidelines for first aid coverage.
First aid coverage is required when there are any clients, guests
or attendees in the building or on the premises for an event or show.
The required coverage time for events is from thirty minutes before
the doors open and goes until thirty minutes after the conclusion of
the event/show or until the building is cleared. It is possible for
the Medical Administrator to arrange the hours of medical personnel
and stations throughout the day, as needed to best cover the facility.
The Dallas Convention Center and Medcor, Inc. suggest that emergency
medical personnel be on site during the dates and times exhibitors move
in and move out due to the type of work and large equipment used.
