Ours is a short winter with cool, and sometimes brisk, temperatures ranging from 35 to 59 degrees F. Snow is rare. Spring's early arrival is heralded by delightfully mild temperatures and a tantalizing display of wildflowers
and azaleas. Summers are definitely warm, 74 to 95 degrees F. and occasionally higher, but usually not for very long! Summer lingers, often stalling the arrival of fall's colors and crisp nights. Rainfall averages 29 inches per year.
